Even if your child is already a bit older, playing continues to be an ideal way to develop and to form. The out-of-school care (buitenschoolse opvang; BSO) of De Kleine Wereld is entirely focused on that. After school hours, during holidays and on free (study and margin) days, we provide a fine place for your child to be.
The children will be cared for after school hours by the pedagogic staff members. They drink tea or lemonade with the children, while attention is always devoted to the experiences and stories about school. On the long afternoon (Wednesday/Friday) and during holidays, depending on the needs and interest, activities will be offered to the children, such as reading (aloud), creative activities or sports. The children will also be challenged to make discoveries, for example through cooking workshop, chess and checkers lessons and visiting museums. As the children become older, they have more of a need for playing with their age cohorts. They get ample space for this. Finally, the children can complete their homework, with or without guidance.
